garlic and lemonade..never, ever.

you know what the best thing about going back to school after Christmas break is?
having another week (minus one day) off, due to fabulous snow. its grand.

so due to the lack of school and activities, i went sledding, watched too many episodes of CSI and The Cosby Show, and made my favorite snack too many times to count. exhibit a-

Ramen noodles with Garlic Powder.

(yes, it sounds gross, but trust me)

uno. cook these bad boys in a pot.

(the flavor doesn't matter, it isn't added)

dos. drain all the water out

(just like "mini" spaghetti if you haven't noticed)

tres. right after you drain the water, add to a bowl and immediately put butter on your noodles, so it will melt into the noodles and taste divine.  

cuatro.  you take this...

and sprinkle it onto your now buttery noodles.

I absolutely love garlic, so i find it amazing, and eat this constantly.

give it a try :)
oh, and do NOT eat garlic powder with lemonade. it burns. someone would know.

and speaking of ramen noodles, i received this text message from my mother this afternoon...

"I got u a 12 pack box of Ramen noodles and 3 boxes of honey buns!!"

i started dying laughing, my own mother must have noticed my addiction to honey buns and ramen noodles.

or maybe it was because at 10 o'clock the other night, i gave a huuge sigh when i opened the pantry and whined about how there weren't anymore ramen noodles. yeah, that could be it.

instead of having numerous post about the Christmas festivities, i thought i would put it all in a nutshell.

so my best friend c.r.marti and i spent one evening doing nothing but watching criss angel stunts and tutorial videos.  & we saw an advertisement for the "criss angel mindfreak ultimate magic kit."  i mean just the way it sounds sounds unbelievably awesome.  so of course we're flippin' out wanting to buy it and play with the "over 500 magic tricks and levitation instructional dvd,"...how cool. so me thinking about how i don't have his Christmas present, i ordered this bad boy and had it shipped right to my door.  well, lets just say the instructional book is pretty much a foreign language, but the props were pretty cool. exhibit a...

we've already gotten 3 tricks down. i was pretty impressed.

the big w.f.

waffle house. or more commonly known to be the midnight eating joint of my fabulous friends and I.

it goes like this...

one. someone will send the group message saying the following.."meet at school at 11:30 for waffs."

two. 92% of the time, everyone shows.  i mean who wants to miss out on waffle house?

three.  we all get the exact same individual orders every. single. time. (well 99% of the time.) mine, chocolate chip waffle, hashbrowns..capped. 

four.  it's always super fun and memorable.

so let me tell you about our waffle house trip the other night.

(friday december seventeenth.)

seven of my best friends and i meet at the usual late at night and make our way to waffle house.  this is filled with our fabulous voices screaming Christmas songs, we make quite a vocal group.


we sit in our usual booths, order our usual food, and then sit, drink our drinks, and talk. (about the most fun, random, things.)  as we're sitting there, marcie gale leans over and whispers in my ear "lets go play hide and seek in wal.mart."  now...at first i gave her the "omgs what are you thinking" look. so next she says to the table "guys i have an idea.." and i stepped in and said "now remember when she says this, that we're freshmen in college."  as she told the table her idea, everyone was silent for about 3 seconds..and my wonder friend tyler obes said "that's a GREAT idea!"  it was absolutely hilarious.


we went with the intentions to play, but we all got distracted and forgot to go look for each other.
